Warranty

At House of Diamonds, we take pride in the masterful craftsmanship of our jewellery. Each piece is carefully inspected to meet the highest standards of beauty and durability. In the rare event of a manufacturing issue, your jewellery is protected both by Australian Consumer Law and our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty.

Australian Consumer Law

All House of Diamonds jewellery is covered by consumer guarantees under Australian law.

  • If a minor issue occurs, we will provide free repairs.

  • If a manufacturing defect is identified within the first 30 days, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.

Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:

  • Change your mind, find a cheaper alternative, or decide you no longer want the item.

  • Cause damage or misuse the product.

  • Were aware of a fault before purchase.

  • Request a service against our professional advice.

Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

We proudly offer a complimentary Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty on all Gold and Platinum jewellery, starting from the invoice date.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting the structural integrity of the piece. Such defects, though rare, usually become evident within the first months of wear.

Making a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us at 1800 845 320 or info@houseofdiamonds.com.au.

  2. Return your item for assessment:

    • Deliver it directly to us, or

    • Pay a return deposit: $40 AUD (within Australia) or $200 AUD (international).

  3. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we refund the deposit in full.

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or loss.

Examples not covered include:

  • Scratches, dents, or abrasions on metal.

  • Chips, scratches, or breakages of gemstones.

  • Discolouration or corrosion from chemicals.

  • Thinning of prongs, claws, or bands from everyday wear.

  • Items altered or repaired by another jeweller.

Jewellery Care

To preserve your jewellery’s beauty and longevity, we recommend removing it during:

  • Sports, gym, and heavy housework.

  • Activities involving exposure to chemicals.

Put jewellery on last when going out and remove it first when returning home.

Important Notes

  • Proof of purchase is required for all claims.

  • The warranty is valid only when the jewellery has not been altered or tampered with by another jeweller.

  • The warranty does not cover loss, theft, or wear from everyday use.

  • To protect your investment, we strongly recommend insuring your jewellery with a specialised insurer. Our team can assist with recommendations.

✨ Your jewellery is made to last a lifetime — and so is our commitment to you.
